Tyee Poll: How Is Your Family Battling ‘Technoference’?

Don’t think children don’t notice you checking your phone.

More than half of kids report that their parents check their phones too much.

We republished a piece from The Conversation Canada this week by a trio of experts on “technoference” in families. Don’t blame kids for too much screen time – research shows that children use devices an average of 2.5 hours per day while parents use them for 3.5 hours.

The piece offers seven tips for families on maintaining a healthy balance with our devices (you can read them here). We’re wondering if you put any of them into practice.

* Please note that all poll answers will be publicly viewable, but anonymous.
