What Do You Think Canada Should Be Doing to Support Ukraine?

As Russia’s war in Ukraine approaches its third month, some are wondering if Canada should do more.

In March, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Canada for its support in a virtual address, but asked for additional assistance.

Marta Dyczok, a history and political science professor specializing in Ukraine, has suggested five actions Canada should take.

Sanctions from Canada and the world continue. A recent announcement from Minister of National Defence Anita Anand noted that Canadian military forces will immediately be deployed to Poland to help with Ukrainian refugee resettlement.

As the war rages with no end in sight, we want to ask:

What do you think Canada should be doing to support Ukraine?
