What Issues Are Most Important to You This Election?

Provincewide municipal elections in B.C. are upon us Oct. 15. Advance voting has already begun in most municipalities.

For the past two months, we’ve been working to keep you as informed as possible about the topics that matter ahead of the election.

On the Vancouver file, we’ve interviewed the top five contenders for mayor, as well as slates for council and developed a full party guide.

Across the province, we’ve looked at the fresh ideas youth are bringing to politics, the program behind bringing gender parity to civic politics in the North, and the new battle in the Victoria satellite city of Langford following three decades under a single mayor.

We’ve unpacked how tackling climate change at the local level matters, shined light on the municipal impacts of school trustees and shared what powers municipalities have when it comes to stemming the toxic drug crisis.

With all this coverage unpacking what matters to British Columbians, we want to ask:

What issues are most important to you this election?
