What Do You Think of PM Carney’s First Months?

There are signs that Prime Minister Mark Carney’s favourability has slipped since his Liberals won the April federal election.

The political rookie has come a long way since he won the Liberal leadership in March.

He has repositioned the party by ditching the carbon tax, pledging more military spending and fast-tracking major projects like pipelines and mines.

Carney, who has served as governor of both the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England and was special envoy on climate change and finance for the UN, won the federal election in large part due to his posture as an experienced public servant and the best person to deal with the whims and demands of U.S. President Donald Trump.

What do you think of PM Carney’s first months?
