David Tracey
David Tracey is the author of Guerrilla Gardening: A Manualfesto, Urban Agriculture: Ideas and Designs for the New Food Revolution and the comedy novel The Miracle Tree. He holds a masters degree in Landscape Architecture from UBC, and a BA in Politics from UC Santa Cruz. Tracey is the head of ecological site design and consultation for EcoUrbanist, and is a frequent public speaker and writer on food politics, ecological design, organic gardening, community ecology, urban tree care and media awareness. His goal: to write, plant, build and inspire a better world.
Connection to B.C.: Tracey was born in Montreal. He is still being raised in a number of places, including Vancouver.
